Clear Calendar — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

Clear Calendar shows a Google Calendar you have already made public on your Wix site. This page says exactly what it reads, what it keeps, and who else sees any of it.

The short version

We store nothing. There is no account, no database and no profile — not of you, and not of your visitors. The app has nothing to delete because it never kept anything.

What the app holds

Your settings — the calendar address, the view, the colours and your stickers — are saved by Wix, on your own site, as properties of the block on your page. They live in your site, not on our servers, and they go with your site if you move or delete it.

What our server does

One small server sits between your page and Google. It exists for a single technical reason: Google serves a public calendar to anyone who asks but does not send the header a browser needs in order to read it directly.

When somebody opens a page with the block on it, that server:

1. receives the public calendar address you entered, 2. fetches that calendar from Google, 3. returns the events for the dates being shown.

It keeps no log of who asked, stores no visitor data, and sets no cookie. A copy of the calendar itself is held briefly in the hosting network's cache (about 15 minutes) so that a busy page does not fetch the same public calendar over and over.

The server runs on Cloudflare Workers.

What we do not collect

Your calendar has to be public

The app only reads calendars that are published to the public in Google Calendar. It deliberately refuses the private "secret address" form of the link, because a private calendar shown on a public web page would expose every event in it — including the ones you never meant to publish.

Anything on a public calendar is already visible to anyone with its address. Before putting one on your site, check that it contains nothing you would not want read.

Adding an event to a visitor's own calendar

Each event can show a link that opens the visitor's own calendar with the details filled in. That link goes to Google and carries only the event's own title, time, place and description. Nothing about the visitor is sent, and the link does nothing at all unless they click it.

Third parties

We sell nothing to anyone, and there is nothing to sell.

Children

The app is a tool for site owners and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anybody, of any age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
